To read before going shopping

Any elopement day in Paris equals a lot of walking. We have full transportation included, but Paris has pedestrian-only areas. So you can expect to walk at least 4,000 to 5,000 steps during your wedding. Sometimes it can be up to 10,000 steps. And of course, we advise wearing flats.

"Bonjour all the beautiful, adventurous, and ambitious ladies, our wonderful brides. And our respect to the intelligent handsome future grooms. Hope you have a good time reading. Let's begin!"

PARIS IS A PEDESTRIAN CITY

Choose formal shoes that match your tux. Make sure they are comfortable for walking long distances. Break them in before the trip.

for the groom

Dear brides, please don't even seriously think about wearing your heels all day!
Our plan is the following: wear flats as your main shoes. Put on heels only for bridal portraits and details.

So ideally, you'll bring two pairs of shoes for your Paris elopement. One pair will be a pretty statement heel for photos, and the other will be white sneakers for walking.

What type of heels to shop for? The more extravagant, the better. Think about brands and trendy models. Okay if these are not very comfortable. We need them only for some portraits and detail shots. You don't have to wear them. These should be your pretty dream heels.

for the bride

For walking shoes, it's ideal to have a pair of new white sneakers—break them in if they're new.

Shall we go on a dessert date and spend more time together?
