Knowing they would get married, they looked for a perfect venue, one that truly fit their status as they both have successful careers. They are used to a certain life together, one they worked hard for. Shangri-La Paris hotel
Lisa and Brandon met a long time ago and even worked together for a while. At first it was just friendly conversations and shared projects, until they both realized it was something more than work friendship.
So how did they decide to get married? They began with an engagement photoshoot in their home city, capturing the place where their story began. Then they chose something that felt personal and true to them and flew to Paris to get married, just the two of them, exactly as they imagined.
The couple's story begins here.
Shangri-La Paris is one of the best places to elope because its terraces have a direct, close-up view of the Eiffel Tower. The hotel is quiet and private, so couples can have their ceremony without crowds.
Lisa said, “We had booked a room and planned to do something there, but the day before the wedding, the reception called and told us their Eiffel Tower suite was available. We were upgraded, and it felt like such a special surprise.”
the venue
“So all the Eiffel Tower viewpoints,” said Lisa, “are crowded with people, right? I was so sad thinking we wouldn’t get any privacy and that we’d always have to look around because someone would be there. What can I do about it?”
“We need to book a private location for the ceremony and plan everything there. The Eiffel Tower will be just for us,” continued our happy bride.
Lisa and Brandon got ready in the same suite, which had a living area and a beautiful terrace for their ceremony. It was the perfect choice for their elopement since the suite had everything they needed.
And they found their perfect place. Exclusively theirs.
Tim: "we immediately started with details. I arrived at the hotel with my assistant. We had a plan for the getting ready photos that took us around 30 minutes. This kind of getting ready shoot only works when the ceremony is at the same location. We don’t take getting ready photos when the ceremony is at a public location. another advantage of booking a private hotel`!"
Welcome to the ceremony!
finally married!
The couple feels like they’re in a literal movie moment. Everything soft, dreamy, and unreal in the best way.
Lisa asked us to get a few extra white roses, and our team created a rain of rose petals, hiding from different sides.
This kind of petal moment is only possible at a private location, where the hotel staff can handle all the cleanup afterward.
Never at a public location.
Lisa coordinated their photoshoot with the hotel staff because at a 5* property, you can’t simply arrive and start shooting. High-end hotels have strict policies regarding guest privacy, space usage, and staff schedules. You need to write them an email and make sure you have it confirmed.
Hotels have another bonus: stairs and lobbies.
Next? A Paris photo session!
Thanks so much again for everything...and for all of the effort and care you put into
MAKING OUR DAY SPECIAL!
— LISA
Lisa and Brandon chose their photoshoot locations in advance from our list and shared their favourite poses, so everything was planned by the time the day arrived. Our package includes the car and all travel, so we accompanied them around Paris while they simply relaxed and enjoyed the experience. Tim guided them through every pose by explaining where to place their hands, how to maintain great posture, and where to look for the best shots. A sneak peek was delivered within a week for them to approve the editing style, and the final photos were ready within a month.
