Jamie and Jason wanted a meaningful celebration in Paris, something that felt special without turning into a big stressful production. When they started searching for a place to say their vows, the Hôtel de Crillon instantly stood out. They also wanted photos that would look incredible for years to come, and the Crillon gave them the kind of backdrop that makes every moment feel instantly memorable.

Hôtel de Crillon
Jamie and Jason live in Ashburn, Virginia. They love working out together, hiking, and doing anything outdoors.
Their couture elopement should be romantic, elegant, and formal.
On their first date, Jason knew Jamie would be his wife. Just two months later, Jamie and Jason were married in a sweet, spontaneous ceremony at home with their children.
Jamie said, "We got legally married some time ago in our kitchen, just us and the kids at 9 p.m. on a Monday night. We wanted a special ceremony without all the stress and incredible photos to remember forever. We decided to do this elopement along with our honeymoon in Paris. And Paris is the most iconic location in my opinion."
The couple's story begins here.
Hotel Crillon sits in a central Paris location near Concorde that makes everything easy for an elopement. Booking this venue gives you comfort, service, and a setting that works for both a ceremony and portraits. The suite and salons offered perfect soft light for photos.
Thank you Hotel Crillon and your team for hosting this event!
the venue
Jamie and Jason’s elopement took place in Hotel Crillon’s Salon Marie Antoinette. The space made everything feel effortless. Ceremony, photos, and just being together.
Tim: "flash photos to add an editorial fashion look? of course! When we arrive for the wedding, everything is already planned. We set up a zone for bridal shots, one for the ceremony, and another for post-ceremony photos. For each zone I use different photography techniques. Bridal shots are softer, with extra lighting to give a more fashion-forward look, but we never use flash at the ceremony so as not to interrupt intimate moments. For the rest of the day, we switch to a relaxed style so everyone feels comfortable and the photos stay natural"
that feeling of
It is a very special moment to finally get married and have your ceremony.
You feel happy and amazing, but at the same time, you will have a million thoughts about your future life. Every detail, every look, every smile suddenly feels so important, and you want to remember it all forever.
High end hotels protect their guests, their spaces, and their schedule, so you cannot just walk in with a camera. You should reach out to the staff and let them know you are staying at the hotel, explain the plan, and wait for their confirmation. Once everything is approved, the hotel team guides you through the spaces that are available.
How to have a hotel photoshoot?
Plus belles promenades dans Paris!
Ahhhh the photos are absolutely STUNNING! Jason is thrilled too.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Jamie and Jason planned their photoshoot with us by talking through the spots they felt drawn to and the kind of moments they wanted captured. On the day, we handled all transport, so they could move through Paris without thinking about logistics. During the shoot, Tim helped them feel comfortable by giving simple guidance on posture, hands, and eye line. They received a small preview within a week to confirm the mood and color direction. The complete gallery was prepared and delivered a few weeks later.
Jamie said, "For my bridal dress, I searched many stores and never loved anything until I found a little boutique run by an Italian mother and daughter duo. Their customer service was unmatched and they really care about their dresses. The mother even altered my dress the same day so I could travel back home with it on time."
