Ellen said, “We wanted to create a truly special moment just for us. Our vision was nostalgic, romantic, candid, and low-key.”
Ellen and Nelson unknowingly crossed paths in high school, only to meet properly years later through a mutual friend at university. At the end of 2016, Ellen moved to Sydney for work, and a year later, Nelson followed. Over the years, they’ve embraced travel, that have sparked some of their most spontaneous adventures. Now, they’re ready to continue exploring the world as husband and wife.
Here is their story.
Ellen wanted a vintage look with a modern twist, creating photos that will age beautifully over time. They planned a relaxed, authentic atmosphere that truly reflects them as a couple. Rather than posed images, Ellen and Nelson wanted to capture themselves enjoying the beauty of Paris.
the timeline and planning
Ellen and Nelson,
Ellen and Nelson, thank you so much for trusting us to capture your special day. It was a true pleasure to work with you and document your beautiful moments in Paris.
We guide the couple with clear, simple direction so they always feel supported. Each movement is shaped gently, which helps them look relaxed and confident on camera. Nothing feels rushed or uncertain. They always know exactly what to do next.
Ellen walked into the department store, not expecting to find her dress. The moment she tried this shorter non classic dress, it felt effortless and perfect. She knew instantly she had found exactly what she had been dreaming of.
When Ellen talks about her dress you can hear how happy she is about this short, non-traditional, unique, beautiful style: "My dress is a white strapless midi dress with pearl embellishments and I love the neckline so much."

Let’s take a walk on a Paris street?
cafe time!
SAYING I DO,
AND I LOVE YOU
Every part of the day is planned in advance. We offered Ellen different cafe options and she chose the one she loved the most. We planned the route, the timing, and the light so the couple can simply arrive and enjoy the moment. The structure is clear. It gives space for natural expression while keeping everything smooth. We check crowd levels, weather, and background details before the session. This cafe had some people, but not too many. You can not really select completely empty cafes, since, you know, Paris is the most popular touristic city. But we do our best to choose the ones that work for photos.
Ellen said, “We are in love with French cafes with tiny tables.”
The session follows a logical flow. Each location connects easily to the next and the couple moves without stress. This creates a comfortable pace.
Romance is the most important, since you are getting married this day!
The workflow stays calm from start to finish. There are no sudden changes or confusing directions. Every step feels predictable and reassuring. Our work highlights the quiet prestige of Paris. The couple appears in spaces that feel timeless, polished, and thoughtfully chosen.
Ellen and Nelson share a calm and natural connection. Their energy together feels steady and balanced, with quiet moments that speak louder than words. Set in the Tuileries Garden, the ceremony felt private despite the public setting. The open space, soft light, and gentle pace created a romance that couples search in Paris.
And the officiant said, "I now pronounce you married."
Right after the final kiss, Ellen and Nelson felt a quiet sense of joy. They looked at each other, feeling calm and connected. Now, they felt like a team, ready for anything together.
a true romance
The city has many iconic monuments, but the beauty is always in the details. The one thing that makes photos say we are getting married in Paris is the doors, something you find only here in Paris.
If you would like to add a signature Parisian shot, we recommend this idea with classic Parisian doors. It creates a very romantic moment.
For the ceremony, we aim to create images that feel elevated. The couple stands in iconic locations that carry history of France.
Ellen and Nelson received elegance, soft emotion, harmony and premium locations.
