To read before the elopement

How exactly do we achieve our clean shots?
We explain with examples.

"It’s something when a couple wants to dive into our knowledge base and is ready to plan their elopement with us. I like that! Hi, how are you doing today?"

We begin right at sunrise, but there may still be people around. We'll remove them from the photos:

The whole process
Before and after
We try to remove constructions, including graffiti, cranes, and trash cans, along with anything else that isn't pretty. Here we removed the graffiti and the people:

Before and after
For this bridal shot, we cleaned up almost everything:
Before and after
Brides’ dresses often get dirty from touching the ground, and we make sure to clean them, even if they’re really gray after the rain:

Some fabrics can wrinkle, and we also take care of that. However, please make sure to steam the fabric before the elopement. If there are any small wrinkles, we’ll fix them:

We can remove the wrinkles but please still invest in a quality fabric outifts. This wrinkle-removing technique is an emergency help in case your steamer was broken.

If you want beauty retouching, please let us know. Everyone sees themselves differently; some clients love natural, untouched images, while others prefer edits. Both are perfectly normal.

Most couples do want some adjustments. In today’s world, where many are influenced by Photoshop and social media, it’s common to want to look perfect. About 9 out of 10 clients request beauty adjustments. We have the same retouching skills as beauty influencers and can apply them for you.

We call this ‘natural portrait retouching.’ It keeps you recognizable but gives you a fresher look, as if you just returned from a two-week beach vacation with yoga.

This includes:
  • Skin softening.
  • Removing blemishes.
  • Adding volume and fixing stray hairs.
  • Reducing double chin if needed and thinning the face.
  • Slimming the waist and arms and rounding the butt, but without anything too dramatic.

Of course, you can ask for specific tailor-made edits. We can do almost anything, just let us know what exactly you’d like us to do.

FACE AND BODY RETOUCHING

Photoshop possibilities are limited, and there are some things we can not fix, big major edits like:

  • We can’t remove goosebumps from arms and body, so please get a warm coat and rent an indoor venue for November to April elopements.

  • We can’t change the color of anything, for example, if the bride decided she likes her shoes better pink instead of gold, that won’t be possible.

  • We don’t change any background or weather conditions. If it was a cloudy day, unfortunately, we can’t draw a sun and make it warmer, although I wish we could!

  • The suit or dress should be properly altered. If the pants need fixing or the dress is too loose, we usually can’t help with that. Please ensure your outfits are perfectly fitted, and that the pants are the right length. It’s nearly impossible to add length to pants if they are too short.

  • Boob tape is fifty fifty; we can sometimes remove it, but not always. To avoid visible tape, make sure it’s hidden or get for a special bra.

And separately let’s discuss the hair fixing. As I previously mentioned, we can fix some flying pieces. But just some of them, that are thin. If you choose to have an updo and there are some pieces that fall apart because of the heavy veil, we will fix it. But it is completely different with hair down styles. If you decide to wear loose curls and then the hair is all over the face, that is also not editable.

WHAT WE CAN NOT DO

Shall we go on a dessert date and spend more time together?

We should have included 3-4 articles on similar topics here to recommend to you. But we don’t want you to just read these top picks. Please read all of our articles from beginning to end. We promise, it's FOR YOU.
