Dani and Adan wanted to have a romantic and stylish elopement in Paris, the city of love and the fashion capital. They booked our all-inclusive elopement package, and we planned a romantic day for this beautiful couple. Eiffel Tower ceremony, Paris photoshoot around the best places. Vintage car and more. Here is their story from beginning to end.

MEET DANI AND ADAN
Dani and Adan met in 2014
Meet Dani and Adan, the best friends and food lovers. They both live in Chicago.
Outside of work, they enjoy trying new restaurants, hitting the dance floor with friends, and working out together. Travel enthusiasts, they make time for adventures when they're not busy managing their careers.
Fuelled by their love for adventure, Dani and Adan seize every opportunity to travel.
WHAT DANI AND ADAN WANTED
Dani and Adan envisioned their elopement to be in Paris.
Dani said: "We chose Paris on a whim. It was the city in Europe that I've always wanted to visit. Adan has been once before. We thought what better place to elope than the most romantic city in the world."
Dani wanted a unique day, with beautiful photos worth a fashion magazine. But she did not want to stress too much over the planning and preparations; Dani and Adan wanted a wow result with minimal stress created.
OUR CHALLENGE
For the Do It Paris Way team the challenge was to craft a magical Parisian celebration that captured the essence of Dani's dream: romantic, elegant, yet low-key. Striking the right balance between sophistication and an easygoing atmosphere.
PLANNING PROCESS
Working with Dani was so lovely! The whole elopement process took us around 4 months. Here is how everything went:
1. Dani reached out via our website contact form.
2. We confirmed the dates and elopement package.
3. Dani and Adan went through our PDF for the Carousel package and decided on the ceremony and photoshoot places they wanted to have.
4. Deposit and a contract were secured.
5. Dani and Adan went shopping for outfits.
6. Dani booked a vintage car separately.
7. Dani sent her inspiration board to Helene for flowers and makeup.
8. Dani got permission from the Shangri-La hotel for a photoshoot.
9. Three days before the elopement, Tim created a wedding day timeline.
10. During the wedding day, the atmosphere was chill because everything was prepared in advance, and we all just enjoyed the process.
TIMELINE
Here is the timeline:
4:20 AM - Makeup and hair artist Yana is coming to the hotel for bridal hair and make-up. Adan gets ready in the same room
6:00 AM - Yana ends her work. Yana helps Dani to put her dress on. Packing the bags and getting down
6:45 AM - Tim picks the couple up
7 AM - Trocadero ceremony
Photoshoot: Trocadero - Lourve Pyramids - Tuileries Garden
10:30 AM - Vintage car arrives to Arc De Triomphe, car photoshoot (extra purchased)
Driving back to the hotel. Shangri-la shoot with vintage car and indoor portraits (extra purchased)

Dani shared a story about her dress"I didn't have high expectations when my mom and I decided to go look at dresses in Chicago. But, sure enough, we found my dress at a bridal boutique. It's not a traditional white, it's more blush. A drop-waist silhouette, sleeveless, with a poufy skirt. I picked this dress because I loved the color and the poufy-ness."
Dani picked a dress by designer Ines Di Santo.
Dani booked hair and makeup included in the package, her artist was Yana. Yana came to their place morning of the wedding day. Here are the photos Dani sent as a reference and a final result:

MEET THE HANDSOME GROOM, ADAN
Adan was wearing a formal black and white tux by the brand called Suit Supply. What a handsome gentleman! His charisma radiates through every photo. A standout groom on this special day.

BOOKING A VINTAGE CAR
Dani and Adan wanted to have a nice car to drive around Paris and take photos.
They booked an additional option, a car from @retromotorscollection
The car was there for 2 hours. We provide full transportation, so the couple does not need to book a vintage car for a long time. 2 hours is just enough to take some pics.
For August 2023, the price for 2 hours was around 250€

DANI AND ADAN ARE GETTING MARRIED
AT THE EIFFEL TOWER
Dani picked a ceremony at Trocadero. Trocadero is a beautiful Eiffel Tower view that is available for ceremonies during the summer months.
The ceremony was really special. Adan put a ring on Dani's finger, and Dani did the same for Adan. They both shared promises they wrote themselves, talking about their love and adventures. There were some happy tears and lots of laughter.

Trocadero stairs were Dani's dream view, and this spot is just a few steps away from the ceremony, so we went there first. It is a beautiful view. The Trocadero stairs are like a dreamy place for taking wedding pictures, especially with the Eiffel Tower in the background. Each step is a perfect spot to capture lovey-dovey moments. The place itself is famous for perfect bridal shots.

A candid and natural smile pose
Transportation is included in the package, and we handled all the logistics and directions. A stress-free experience for the couple as they simply enjoyed the ride from one location to another.
Louvre pyramids. Afterwards, we headed to the famous Louvre Museum for our second location.
During the photoshoot, we always help the couple with outfits and posing. Our assistant at the photoshoot placed the dress so the bride doesn't have to worry about it:

HOTEL PHOTOSHOOT
Dani and Adan purchased an additional option for hotel photos. Their hotel was a beautiful Shangri La.
Originally, for most weddings, getting ready and hotel photos begin the day. However, for a Paris elopement, that is not possible. The hotel photoshoot always comes last since we leave very early. We always pick the couple up before sunrise, and it's too dark to shoot at the hotel at that time. Therefore, we swap places and adapt to the lighting conditions.
After the main elopement part was over, we returned to their hotel to take some final photos.
Please note that to take photos at Shangri la, the couple should book a room there and get permission from hotel management by email.
Room rates at the Shangri-La Hotel generally start at around €800 per night
