Together for 10 years
"Eloping just felt like the right way to do it, with just our closest family. Paris has always been a dream for us, and we're excited." - shared Evan.
For Do it Paris Way, the job was to plan a special wedding for Evan and Chelsea and their Tuileries ceremony for 9 guests. They wanted their wedding to be elegant and fun, with a mix of traditional and new ideas.
The couple's story begins here.
Since they were kids, they've dreamed of revisiting Paris together. Evan proposed to Chelsea in April 2023 with a sweet picnic surrounded by memories. "After me saying YES, we celebrated the proposal by enjoying one of our favorite restaurants in Chicago." - Chelsea
"My tip for ladies who begin to style their perfect bridal look would be to search online for inspiration photos that you love and save them as a reference. Then, pick a detail you want to carry through your bridal look. For me, it was pearls. From my earrings to my veil and shoes, I chose pieces that subtly incorporated a pearl detail. I think having a subtle common detail helps make your bridal style look cohesive." shared Chelsea.
"If you love your bridal look, you'll feel so confident and beautiful on your day," shared Chelsea.

Tim took care of the logistics. The couple could just relax right away. After the Paris street, everyone drove to the Louvre.
The photography that comes with our packages is location-based rather than hourly-based. They were at peace of mind knowing that the locations they expected to capture would come out perfect without the risk of receiving an overtime invoice in case the day ran late due to bad traffic or weather.
the tuileries
Chelsea and Evan left the Louvre, their last photo spot in Paris. They were happy but now felt something more. Walking to their wedding, they were nervous yet excited. They weren’t just taking photos, they were starting a new chapter.
"Together, we are ready for anything. Let's get married!" Chelsea said, excited.
Chelsea and Evan,
Reflecting on Chelsea and Evan's elopement, it was truly a beautiful day and an absolute pleasure to work with such a wonderful couple. We're really thankful they chose us for their wedding. We wish Chelsea and Evan all the best and lots of happiness.
My goal was to plan a stress-free day for the couple. I did the timeline, logistics, and itinerary. Taking photos of Chelsea and Evan was really fun. They love each other so much, and it showed in every picture. The Tuileries Garden made everything look even more beautiful! Of course I edited the photos and removed the people:

Chelsea and Evan stood together in the Tuileries Gardens, under the open sky, with 9 guests around them. They exchanged rings, showing their endless love. Their vows were promises to always be together, simple but powerful. When they said "I do," it wasn't just words, it was a promise from their hearts.
FINAL THOUGHTS
When Chelsea received her photos, she left us a review:
I did Chelsea's makeup to look natural, elegant. Styling Chelsea's hair, she chose a sleek updo, for her wedding was about making her feel beautiful in a simple, elegant way. She looked amazing!

In September, Paris starts to cool down after summer, but it's still pretty nice. Temperatures range from around 15°C to 22°C (59°F to 72°F). It's a good time to wander around the city without getting too hot or too cold. Rains are not heavy and end pretty fast.
Tim found the best angles and poses for Chelsea and Evan, guiding and giving directions while leaving plenty of room for Chelsea, Evan, and their loved ones to pose and have fun.
Chelsea shared her photoshoot vision: "Our highest priority is capturing photos that show our happiness and show off the iconic landscape of Paris."
Dad held Chelsea's hand, guiding her down the aisle in the Tuileries. It was a small, perfect moment, remembered forever.
After the ceremony, Chelsea, Evan, and their 9 guests opened champagne. It was a sweet and happy moment. Everyone toasted to the couple's future.
"It is our dream elopement! We got married in Paris with our closest loved ones, doing what we love most—exploring new cities, trying new foods, and having fun!" Chelsea couldn't stop smiling, her dream just became a reality.
