If you have never been to a flower market in Europe, it can be hard to imagine what florists actually work with. In France, most florists use fresh, seasonal flowers that come from local and Dutch flower markets.
Floral shop workers go to the local flower market several times a week. They don’t grow flowers themselves, they buy what is fresh and in season that month. Here is an example :
"Before you book our packages, let's talk about the flowers. Please let me show you what we can or can not offer, because there should be no surprises!"

What flowers are available in Paris?
In French flower shops, you’ll find almost no wildflowers or field greenery. Most flowers look like this, in a more polished, formal, and elegant style. There are also flowers that you see only during some months, like peonies in May or dahlias in autumn. When the season ends, they simply disappear until next year.
You will usually find roses, lisianthus, sweet peas, lilies, baby's breath, carnation, chrysanthemums, and garden greens.
flowers available all year round
1. Roses
In France, roses are available in a wide range of colors. Of course for weddings, white or cream ones are most popular. Other common shades include classic blush, soft pink, red, cream, ivory. Seasonal varieties may offer peach, coral, or deep burgundy tones. We can also find pale lilac, lavender.
2. White and cream blooms you will often see
These are the soft, neutral flowers brides imagine when they say they want a white or cream bouquet. Lisianthus look like small roses but last very well in a bouquet. Carnation is deserves justice, althouhg hated by many brides, is one of the best wedding flowers, pure white and lasts very long. Carnations have many thin petals that form a tight round flower, they are delicate and very pretty. Mostly white flowers are simple and modern.
3. Greens and foliage
I don’t use much greenery in bouquets because in Paris the architecture style is very formal. The city itself is too formal, and greenery has that tropical playful look. I feel that greenery is more for tropical beach elopements. Too much greenery can feel out of place in Paris. But if you like it, there is plenty available: eucalyptus, ruscus, olive branches, and more. I can add as much greenery as you want.
4. Bright colors: pinks, reds, burgundy
Brightly colored flowers are also available in Paris, such as burgundy, red, purple, and violet. This isn’t our signature style. Our signature is less contrast, soft, light shades like white and cream. But if a red bouquet is a dealbreaker for you, I can order red roses as well. If you'd like to have one, here is what I can do for you :
5. Orchids
In my opinion, orchids are one of the best wedding flowers. They’re super elegant, they hold up beautifully throughout the entire photoshoot, and they suit literally any skin tone and age. I personally love working with white orchids. Some brides have this stereotype that orchids are outdated, like a 2000s thing, not very trendy, but honestly, when you know how to style them in a bouquet, they look insanely elegant and luxurious:
premium flowers
Luxury flowers are special, high-quality blooms that are grown with extra care and attention. These are the flowers you see at billionaire's weddings. They are usually larger, more fragrant, and have more layered, refined petals than mass market flowers. Many luxury flowers, like rare garden roses or calla lilies, are grown slowly to reach perfect size and shape, which makes them last longer and look more elegant. But before you decide you want them, here is what to know:
1. Are only availably by special order at least 2 weeks in advance, please send me a clear message mentioning you want these, I do not buy them by default; 2. You can only order these roses in packs of 10 or 15 minimum, so if you choose them, it will be a full bouquet made of these roses or roses plus somthing else. We can’t just add one, two, or three roses to your original bouquet. They have to be ordered in larger quantities. No supplier will plan the multi hour drive to deliver just 3 roses. So 10-15 at least!
We can get a clear white shade, as well as ivory or blush shades. Or we can also get you some colorful ones :

Other premium flowers such as calla lilies or ranunculus are also available upon request. Please let me know if you’re interested, and I’ll check the seasonality and confirm if I can get them for your date :

1. Peonies
In France, peonies are only available from mid April to early June. That's it.
White and pink peonies
2. Lily of the valley
Lily of the valley is only available a few days from April 29 to May 2. Yes, unfortunately that short. If you envision yourself with a lily of the valley bouquet, I recommend ordering an artificial one from Etsy. They make incredibly realistic versions that look exactly like the real thing in photos, and you can easily bring it with you.

flowers i do not work with
You have your deal-breakers when it comes to your wedding, and I have mine. Here’s a list of what I don’t work with, along with some illustrations and explanations.
1. Bright flower colors that are not natural, like most shades of blue, neon orange, gold:
Unusual colors in uncommon shades, like bright blue, black, or neon pink, are typically artificial flowers painted with chemical dyes, even if they look very realistic. That’s why we don’t work with them.
If, for example, your wedding has a blue theme and you’d love to have blue flowers, I can exclude your bouquet from the package, and you can order a blue silk flower bouquet on Etsy instead. That way, you’ll still have the look you want.
As for real flowers, shades like these simply don’t exist in natural form.

2. Gothic or dark flowers, black roses
Black roses do not exist in nature. All black roses are either artificial, and I do not work with artificial flowers, so you can order that kind of bouquet on Etsy, or they are dried flowers that have been chemically dyed. When a dyed black rose touches the skin, the pigment often leaks and stains the dress and hands. So this is an absolute hard no for me. I do not create gothic-style bouquets with black or very dark flowers.

3. Dried flowers
I do not use dried flowers, even in small amounts. All the flowers in your bouquet will be fresh. The reason is that dried flowers crumble very easily. Since we work with our own car, after each wedding we would have to do a full interior cleaning, because once the bride sits down, the dried flowers fall apart everywhere. So I want to make it clear that I do not purchase or use dried flowers in any form.

how to choose your perfect bouquet
If you want a white bouquet, you can absolutely go for it, because white or cream bouquets look good on everyone. But if you are thinking about adding color, even just a few colorful flowers, it is really important to choose strategically.
You have probably noticed that some colors look amazing on you, while others just do not?Sometimes you put on a t-shirt in one color and you look fresh and glowing, and another color can make your face look tired, right? It is because we all have a set of colors that fit our skin tone.
How do you know which colors look best on you? To find out, go to our highlight “STYLE” on Instagram, where I explain everything in detail. But in short, you just need to take a bare face makeupless selfie in natural daylight , facing a window. Then upload this photo to ChatGPT and use the following prompt : "I am a bride-to-be. I want to find out my seasonal color type. Analyze my appearance and describe: my color type, what it means, the bouquet colors that would suit me, and which colors I should avoid. Give a full analysis of my appearance with all recommendations."
Next, you can use these recommendations not just for choosing your bouquet, but also for selecting fabrics for your dress, picking the groom’s suit, deciding on hairstyle, makeup, and everything else. After that, you can go on Pinterest, TikTok, or Google, doesn’t matter, and search for inspiration, or even send me screenshots, and we can pick a bouquet with your ideal colors together. I actually recommend adding this full analysis to your Pinterest folder too!
bouquet shapes i can do for you
Okay, now that you’ve decided on your colors, let’s think about the bouquet shape. Below, I’ll show you the main bouquet shapes, the ones that look best for Paris. When you write to me about your bouquet, you can just use the name of the shape, it makes everything super easy, and I’ll immediately know what style you’re going for:
If you’re not sure which bouquet shape will suit you best, send me your choice and I’ll give you recommendations based on your height, because height really matters too.
If you’re petite, under 5’4”, we recommend a smaller bouquet, like a single-flower or small-sized bouquet.
If you’re tall, 5’8” and above, we suggest an oval greenery bouquet or larger bouquets, or even a cascade, because in classic styling, the taller the bride, the bigger the bouquet, and the shorter the bride, the smaller and more compact the bouquet, so the bride doesn’t get lost behind it.
There are of course some exceptions. A round bouquet works really well with full ball-gowns. If you have a ballgown, a small round bouquet can suit you even if you’re a taller bride. In general, there are a lot of things to look for. Please message me personally and we’ll discuss it together. Ideally, include the following:
1. First, what ChatGPT suggested for your colors; 2. Second, your height including the heels you’ll wear on your wedding day; 3. Your preferred bouquet shapes; 4. A picture of your dress;
We’ll analyze everything and find out what will work best.
Below I am sharing a gallery of bouquets I created for our brides so you can see how French flowers look and how they appear on camera :
extra bouquets
We also have two bouquet shapes that aren’t included in the default package: the cascade bouquet and the oversized orchid bouquet. They’re €100 upcharge because I use twice as many flowers, so they’re double the size of our regular bouquets. That’s why the cost is higher. If you’d like a cascade or oversized orchid bouquet, there’s an extra charge of €100 on top of your package:
