your perfect wedding venue
Château de Sceaux
French chateau? Yes. The gardens are designed by Andre Le Nôtre. He’s the same landscape architect behind Versailles.
Amily and Andrew wanted to have a special and stunning location for their elopement wedding day in France. This castle is giving Versailles energy, minus the crowds. The French gardens? Literal art. With our easy to plan elopement package you can have luxe without the pressure, just you, your person, and the view.
The couple's story begins here.
Amily and Andrew chose a classic view of a French castle called Chateau de Sceaux. The architecture alone feels like a love letter.
The bride wore a gown from Essence of Australia, made of flowing organza with a basque waist, lace-up back, and an elegant long train. For her bouquet, Amily asked white roses.
Amily shares: “My modern princess dress truly came to life, with the lace-up back showcasing a touch of old-world charm”

louvre gallery
Our bride Amily has high-contrast features and dark hair, which is why spots like this part of the Louvre Gallery work so well for her. So if you have dark hair and a bright white dress, this column part of Louvre Gallery will look stunning on you.
For blondes, though, this kind of lighting might not be ideal. The contrast here is really strong, with deep shadows and bright highlights, which can be a bit too overpowering.
August is a great time for a photoshoot at Trocadero. The light at Trocadero is absolutely perfect. We definitely recommend coming in August if photos with the Eiffel Tower are a must-have for you. The only thing is that we usually have to start quite early, around 6 AM, but you probably already know that...
We totally get that posing can feel awkward, but we’ve got you. Tim will guide you every step of the way so it feels natural and fun. Plus, Tim's assistant is always there to help with your dress and details so you can just focus on enjoying the moment together.
“The Louvre gallery photoshoot was everything we dreamed of” said Amily.
the chateau de sceaux
Amily and Andrew love old stone walls, quiet gardens, and that effortless French kind of luxury. And we drove there 40 min from Paris for that soft light, champagne mornings, and a love story that feels like a movie.
A French château is the ultimate main character moment...
romantic castle ceremony
(very cinematic)
Amily and Andrew said their vows, slipped on their rings, and shared the sweetest “I do” moment. The beautiful spot you see here is known as the garden view.
I promise to hold your hand through every season, always finding music in our everyday moments...
Our bride always dreamed of having her ceremony in a place where she could truly feel like a princess. Another great thing is that this chateau is public, so if you book our elopement package, you do not have to pay anything for venue rent. You can simply come and take photos here. And the best part is that we know the right time to arrive, so you can have your photos without any crowds around.
After the ceremony, Amily and Andrew sealed their love with a kiss, the first of many as husband and wife. Can you picture yourself in that moment? Standing with the love of your life, feeling the joy, the calm, and the magic all at once. It’ll come sooner than you think, and it’ll be even more beautiful than you ever imagined.
Champagne time!
couple's castle portraits
One of the main reasons why the photos look so stunning is the right outfits. The bride wanted a true princess feel, so she chose a ball gown with a long train. If you want a similar look in photos, make sure your dress has the same kind of volume and flow. A minimalist or beach-style dress will create a completely different impression. The train really makes a huge difference in how grand and cinematic the photos turn out.
Amily and Andrew,
Sending heartfelt congratulations to Amily and Andrew on their marriage! We loved capturing the beautiful moments of your special day.
My goal was to make the day relaxed and enjoyable for Amily and Andrew. I coordinated the event, followed Amily’s ideas for the photoshoot, and assisted with posing. Here is my work:
tim: planning and photography
I kept in close contact with Amily and Andrew from beginning to end. Amily shared all her ideas and preferences, and I concentrated on picking the perfect flowers and arranging the makeup plans. Using the inspiration photos Amily provided, I crafted a custom bouquet that matched her vision:
Helen: communication and flowers
It was an honor to officiate Amily and Andrew’s wedding. Seeing them exchange their vows and celebrating their love made the day so special.
olga: the ceremony
Choose a location that matches your face contrast. If you have dark hair and white dress, strong light and deep shadows will look amazing. But if you are blonde or very light brunette, it is better to pick a softer light location, not one with dark walls and harsh shadows.
This is pretty much how Paris wedding ceremony at our chateau usually goes. The couple arrives, takes a few photos, and then we start the ceremony. During the ceremony, there is usually an “I do”, a kiss, and the vow exchange, but it is always up to you. Some couples exchange vows, some prefer not to. After the ceremony, there is a photo session around the chateau with Tim for about 1 hour. As you can see, the couple receives a large number of photos, enough to create a beautiful album and share them with family.
The couple went for an hour photo session at the castle, which is usually enough time to capture all the spots you like. If you are also planning to book this package, we highly recommend visiting the virtual venue tour page in the planning section. There, you can see all available views. We suggest making a list of the places you want to visit during your session. For example, you can do your first look in one spot and bridal portraits in another. It is best to plan ahead so your château photoshoot feels organized and you can make the most of all the beautiful views.
If fairytales were real, they’d look a lot like this. When your Paris photoshoot feels like a scene straight out of a dream, but it is very much real.
Castle stays green year-round, a great choice for winter elopements.
You can take formal shots standing or walking, but also capture candid moments. Want to run, dance, or just be yourselves? There are plenty of options here.
After the photoshoot, we send a sneak peek within a week, and the full gallery is ready in 30 business days.
So here it is. We hope you enjoyed Amily and Andrew’s elopement. It was a beautiful August morning with very few people around.
